Public meeting for Osborne Pond Remedial Action set for July 12

US Army Corps of Engineers to host meeting at Joint Base Cape Cod

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is holding a public meeting on Tuesday, July 12th at 5 p.m., at the JBCC Visitor Center (Building 1805) to provide information on the results of the Remedial Action to reduce potential hazards associated with unexploded ordnance (UXO) at Osborne Pond, Joint Base Cape Cod, Bourne, Massachusetts. UXO safety training will also be presented.

Representatives from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection will be present to answer any questions you may have about the results of the investigation.

All are welcome.

Members of the public outside the Base must enter through the main gate (Bourne gate) with a picture ID and inform the guard that they are attending the public meeting in Building 1805.

Please allow extra time for entry onto the Base.
