Rep. Joseph P. Kennedy III Endorses Julian Cyr for State Senate

Candidate claims to have received majority of endorsements

U.S. Representative Joseph P. Kennedy III has endorsed Julian Cyr for State Senate, according to Cyr's deputy campaign chair Rachel Lake.

"Congressman Kennedy joins numerous elected officials on the local, state and federal levels who believe Julian Cyr is the best candidate to fill the seat currently held by Senator Dan Wolf," Lake said in a Sunday morning media statement.

The media release quotes Congressman Kennedy as saying, "Whether supporting small businesses, tackling the opiate epidemic, advocating for critical economic development projects, or fighting for working families, Julian will come to the State House with an unrivaled understanding of the unique challenges this region faces. As someone deeply invested in the future of Cape Cod, I trust Julian Cyr to make the best choices for her communities and families." 

According to the his campaign staff, Julian Cyr has received the majority of endorsements, both elected officials and organizations, in the state senate race thus far.
