Letter in support of Ron Beaty for County Commissioner

The United States Constitution states: "We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

The Barnstable County Home Rule Charter states: "We the people of Barnstable County, in order to gain for ourselves and for our communities, all of the rights, powers, privileges, duties and obligations which may now or in the future be derived from a regional government providing extensive services to its region known as Barnstable County and being fiscally sound, do reestablish for ourselves and for our communities the means and the structure to deal with regional issues which transcend the existing boundaries of municipal governments."

Through documented carelessness and dereliction of duty, County Commissioners Mary Pat Flynn and Sheila Lyons have failed to honor and respect the aforementioned sacrosanct words of both the Constitution and the County Charter.

On November 8th, fill this void by electing my husband, Ronald Beaty, for County Commissioner. Ron truly cares about the regular people of Cape Cod.
