CapeCodToday.com today received the following statement from Republicn State Committee member Marty Lamb:

Regarding the upcoming November 8th election, I am endorsing Ronald Beaty for Barnstable County Commissioner on Cape Cod.

This endorsement is made in my capacity as a Massachusetts Republican Party State Committee Man for the 2nd Middlesex Norfolk District, as well as personally.

For a variety of reasons Mr. Beaty is a superior candidate for the position in question.

Ron Beaty stands for limited government, fiscal responsibility, lower taxes, transparency, accountability, and protecting the public interest.

A native-born 55 year old Cape Codder, he possesses the education, experience and wherewithal to get the job done. This includes 2 Master's degrees from Boston College and Lesley University, as well as a quarter century of working in real estate management.

As a prominent long-time Regional Community Activist, Ron is an outsider, yet is intimately familiar with the myriad of county government issues of importance because he has been involved and engaged in them on behalf of the public at large and an open meeting law advocate.
