Yesterday your police officers were participating in a stuff-a-cruiser event at the Stop & Shop on Shankpainter Road.

There are nearly 15 million American children living at or below the poverty level in the United States.

Help make a difference in a local child's life this holiday season!

We ask members of our community to team up with volunteer businesses and drop a new, unwrapped toys in collection boxes positioned at the following local businesses.

• Provincetown Police Department
• Veterans Memorial Community Center
• Provincetown Public Schools
• Stop & Shop
• Coffee Pot
• Conwell ACE Hardware & Lumber
• Land's End Marine Supply

Each year we partner with the US Marine Corp Reserve to collect NEW and UNWRAPPED toy donations. The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect toys during November and December each year, and distribute those toys as gifts to needy children in the Cape & Islands community in which the campaign is conducted.

Next weekend we will have volunteer police officers present at the following collections sites at the following times, please stop by and help us help those less fortunate.

Saturday December 03, 2016 10:00am to 2:00pm

The objectives of Toys for Tots are to help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of the holidays; to play an active role in the development of one of our nation’s most valuable resources – our children; to unite all members of local communities in a common cause for these few months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign.

Over its life span, the Marine Toys for Tots Program distributed over 512 million toys to over 237 million less fortunate children.

Toys For Tots - By providing a brand new gift --- something many children take for granted --- each of us can help less fortunate children in our area believe that someone cares and that the magic of the holiday season hasn’t passed them by.
