The final weekend of Gardens Aglow at Heritage Museums & Gardens, which runs December 16-18 from 4:30-8:30 pm, features nightly entertainment provided by young and talented performers from Sandwich.

On Friday, December 16, Sandwich High School’s Show Choir “Sandwich Soul” will perform. Among its many accolades, the award-winning advanced choir has toured and competed in national and international competitions and appeared on national television. On Saturday, December 17, visitors will enjoy a performance by the talented singers and musicians in the Sandwich High School and STEM Academy Jazz Band. On the final night of Gardens Aglow, Sunday, December 18, the Sandwich Band & Choir will perform. All performances begin at 6:30 pm.

In anticipation of large attendance at the final evening of Gardens Aglow on Sunday, December 18, additional parking will be available at the Henry T. Wing School in Sandwich, and a trolley will run from the school’s front parking lot located on Morse Street to Heritage Museums & Gardens.

Also on Saturday, December 17, award-winning artist and carver Chip Koser of South Cape Ice Sculptures will demonstrate ice carving as he creates a one-of-a-kind sculpture visitors can pose on for picture-taking. On Sunday, December 18, “Bubble Guy” Vinny Lovegrove will create giant bubble displays.

Visitors will also enjoy more than ten miles of holiday lights adorning Heritage’s 100 acres of gardens and woodlands, family-friendly activities, marshmallow-roasting, picture-taking with Santa in the Model T, displays of model trains, a reindeer scavenger hunt, festively decorated tablescapes assembled by some of the region’s best interior designers, rides on Heritage’s popular antique carousel, and more.

For the third year in a row, Heritage is partnering with the Sandwich Food Pantry to assist area families. This season, visitors are asked to bring school supplies, including glue sticks, pencil boxes or pouches, spiral notebooks, highlighter markers, thumb drives, three-ring binders, and #2 pencils. Donation boxes will be set up in The Shop at Heritage. The Shop will also be open, offering great gifts for family and friends.
