New parent and infant classes at Waldorf School

Classes start January 12th

Starting January 12th, the Waldorf School of Cape Cod will offer a new class for parents and infants age 3 months to crawling. During this class, parents will have the opportunity to observe and enjoy their babies in the company of other babies and new parents. The Waldorf School parent educator, Leah Green, provides support and information and facilitates discussion on a variety of parenting topics.

Practical tips and activities will be shared with the parents who attend this class including singing lullabies, reciting soothing rhymes and verses and doing simple infant massage. The class promotes connection between parent and baby and also with other new parents in a soothing and relaxed environment.

In addition to the baby class, the Waldorf School has class selections for parents and toddlers that provides a comfortable environment for interactive and creative play. These classes provide an opportunity to learn about toddler development and ways to nurture family life.

Further information about the school and the parent and child classes is available by calling the school at 508-420-1005 or by visiting the school’s web site at www.waldorfcapecod.org .
