Making College enrollment as convenient as possible, Cape Cod Community College welcomes everyone wishing to attend courses in the coming semester to a “One-Stop Enrollment Day” Saturday January 7, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. First-time students, and those returning after taking some time off can complete the entire admissions process on the second floor of the Grossman Commons Building, all in one place, at one time that morning.

All steps necessary to enroll can be done in just one visit to campus the morning of January 7th including: completing the College’s application, academic assessment and advising, and working through all the steps necessary to cover the financial requirements. Financial Aid staff will be on hand to help with questions about forms, and Business Office staff will be ready to assist with payment plan information.

Christine McCarey, Dean of Enrollment Management and Advising Services noted that processes have been streamlined and made even more convenient than in the past, and there will be a number of staff on hand to answer questions and assist.

“We know that for some people, there is a real fear that the entire entrance process can be complicated and difficult, so they never start. We’re doing everything we can to remove those barriers, and make this an easy and enjoyable experience. The Enrollment staff really want people to come and start or restart! We’ll do whatever it takes to make that happen.

The “one-stop” is a great example of our commitment to new and returning students. In today’s world, not having to make multiple trips can be the difference between someone making the effort to begin or restart, or just giving up and missing out on the career and personal benefits found with earning that academic certificate or degree. We don’t want people missing out,” she stated.

Those coming on Saturday January 7th are asked to bring as much individual information as they can gather. Past transcripts and tax returns, and a photo ID will be very helpful in completing all required forms.
