Accused child pornographer sent to Florida, not Harwich

Jason Andolina's conditional order of release revoked
NOT coming to Harwich: Jason Andolina, accused of distributing child pornography, lost his conditional order of release and will be remanded to Florida's Northern District federal courts.

Instead of being sent to his parents' Harwich home, Jason Andolina remains in Federal custody and was ordered removed to the Northern District of Florida in Pensacola.  Mr. Andolina faces charges for distribution of child pornography.

The Worcester Telegram reports that Judge Casey M. Rodgers of the Northern District of Florida, the court with original jurisdiction over the charges, granted a motion by the U.S. Attorney to revoke the conditional order of release issued Monday by Worcester federal Magistrate Judge David H. Hennessy.  Judge Rogers ordered Andolina be taken to Florida to face the pending charges.

Dr. Michele Andolina, Jason Andolina's father, had pledged the equity in his home as a $200,000 appearance and performance bond.

Jason Andolina, age 42, lived in Uxbridge.  Until last week, he was a Cub Scout leader and a special ed instructional assistant at Northbridge High School.  He is a 1993 graduate of Harwich High School.
