Below is the Tuesday morning briefing from the National Weather Service.  Winter weather is expected across much of Massachusetts over the next 24 hours, but appears to be sparing the Cape.  Use caution if you're traveling to the areas affected by the winter weather advisories.

From the National Weather Service:

A wintry mix of snow, sleet and / or freezing rain is forecast across parts of interior Southern New England, developing late today and continuing into Wednesday morning. Winter Weather Advisories have been posted.

Anticipating impacts to the PM commute this afternoon into evening as well as the AM commute on Wednesday.

Best advice is to remain aware of the oncoming weather as there remains a fair amount of uncertainty in the forecast.

If you have to travel at any time later today into Wednesday morning simply plan accordingly, monitor the weather, and give yourself extra time as necessary.
