Two New Officers Graduate Police Academy

The Falmouth Police Department has added two new officers to its force—Officers Cody R. Murray and Alexander C. Busch.

Graduation ceremonies for the officers of the 5th Recruit Officer Course (ROC) of Randolph Police Academy were held January 20, at Massasoit Community College. The class consisted of 47 student police officers.

Each officer had their respective badges pinned on them by their parents. One of the parents, Detective (ret.) Robert Murray, pinned his son, Officer Cody R. Murray.

Each officer went through 25 weeks of intense law enforcement training. Next, they'll be assigned to an experienced field-training officer for about 12 weeks of on-the-job training. Then, the new officers will be assigned to the Operations Division for their first assignment.

Please join the Falmouth Police Department in congratulating Officers Cody R. Murray and Alexander C. Busch.
