MEMA: Multi-faceted winter storm coming Monday, Monday night

Heavy rain, coastal flooding here - snow off-Cape

Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency has shared the following bulletin from the National Weather Service:

A significant coastal storm will impact southern New England late Monday and especially Monday night. It will be multifaceted, with very strong, potentially damaging wind gusts along the coast (especially from Block Island to Nantucket and outer Cape Cod); heavy rain in eastern MA, RI, and eastern CT; plowable snow in northwest MA; with a period of ice possible in the higher elevations of western and central MA. Confidence is exceptionally high with regard to wind gusts, which is why Storm and Gale Watches are already posted for all MA and RI coastal waters.
