Bulletin from Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency:

Residents within the 10 mile Emergency Planning Zones (EPZs) of Pilgrim Nuclear Power Plant in Plymouth (residents of Duxbury, Kingston, Plymouth and portions of Carver and Marshfield) and Seabrook Nuclear Power Plant in Seabrook, NH (residents of Amesbury, Merrimac, Newbury, Newburyport, Salisbury and West Newbury) are encouraged to review the updated public safety information on MEMA’s website: http://www.mass.gov/…/mema/emergencies/nuclear-power-plants/.

Although the risk of an emergency at one of the nuclear power plants is small, the public safety information will ensure that residents are prepared to take appropriate action in the event of an emergency. The same information also has been mailed to all residents of the 11 communities.
