From the Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce:

The Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce (YCC) joined many other exhibitors this past weekend at the Boston Globe Travel Show including Red Jacket Resorts who helped promote Yarmouth with their own booth. The show was held at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston. Spanning from Friday, February 10th through Sunday February 12st, The Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce and its member sponsor, The Steamship Authority, proudly represented Yarmouth.

YCC offerings included Cape Cod Potato Chips, OceanSpray Craisins, rack cards with seasonal Yarmouth event listings, the newly printed Hyannis-Yarmouth Guide Book, YCC logo phone wallets and pens, and various participating member brochures. YCC members, John Brink of Hyannis Whale Watcher Cruises, Diane Gomes of Hampton Inn and Suites, Patrick Treacy of SoundsCape Mobile Entertainment, and Sid Cruz joined the YCC to promote Yarmouth. Marketing Director, Ashley Cormier said, “The show was a huge success this year. We implemented new ways for the attendees to engage with our booth including a TV with scrolling aerial footage of Yarmouth, an iPad for quick entry into our giveaway, sample tastes of Cape Cod, and plenty of eye catching visuals.”

YCC provided four seasonal getaway packages that highlighted signature Yarmouth events including The Cape Cod St. Patrick’s Parade, PawPalooza presented by Agway of Cape Cod, The Trolley Tour Taste of Yarmouth, and the Yarmouth Port Christmas Stroll. Each package was designed to highlight each event as well as promote Yarmouth as a year round destination. The four winners were from Mansfield, Newtonville, Newton, and Georgetown Massachusetts.

With an estimated 24,000+ in attendance and continual flow of people to the Yarmouth booth, the YCC is very pleased with the outcome of the show. The Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce would like to thank the Boston Globe, Red Jacket Resorts, Hampton Inn and Suites, and Hyannis Whale Watcher Cruise s for all of their hard work to help YCC have such a successful show.

The YCC will be attending two (2) additional shows in partnership with the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce, The Portland Golf Expo and The National Golf Expo in Boston.
