People for Cats: Meet Riley

A playful, year-old bob-tail female...
Young Riley wants you to play fetch with her. People for Cats photo.

Our cat of the week is Riley, a one-year old small brown, female tabby with beautiful green eyes. Riley’s most distinctive feature is her bobbed tail, which is a result of a genetic mutation. She is a love bug who charms our volunteers with her friendliness and good temperament. Playing is important to young cats like Riley and she adores playing fetch. She would be a wonderful first cat for a family with children to keep her busy doing what she likes best--playing. This lovely young girl is a charmer and will brighten anyone’s home with her company.

If you would like to visit with Riley or some of our other equally lovely cats, come into the shelter at 44 Beagle Lane in Teaticket. We are open to the public on Wednesdays from 4 to 6 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., or call our hotline for an appointment. Hotline: 508-540-5654, press #1 if you have cat related issues, questions or for further information about People For Cats, or press #2 if you need financial assistance for veterinary care for your cat.
