2017 ORLEANS CITIZEN RECOGNITION PROGRAM TOWN SEEKS NOMINATIONS

Each year at the Annual Town Meeting in May, the Town honors one of its citizens with the Orleans Citizenship Award.  This award is made by the Board of Selectmen on behalf of the citizens of the Town but the nominations come from the public.

Selection is based on good citizenship criteria including volunteer service, some significant contribution or accomplishment, or positive impact on the Town and its residents.

Who do you think deserves the award this year?

Nomination forms for the 2016 Citizen Recognition Program are available at the Town Hall, Snow Library or on the Town website at www.town.orleans.ma.us .  The deadline for submission is Wednesday, March 29th, 2017.   The award will be presented at the Annual Town Meeting on Monday, May 8th, 2017.

Please submit your completed form to the Town Administrator’s Office in the Orleans Town Hall.  Please make sure that your nomination form is submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked “2017 Citizen Award Nominations”.  If you wish to mail the form, please send to:
