Herring Count Volunteer Training - March 18th

Learn all about herring and why we need to count them...

Three Bays Preservation is hosting its annual herring count volunteer training session on Saturday, March 18th at Liberty Hall in Marstons Mills from 1:00-3:00pm. Please join in and learn all about herring and why we need to count them. The herring are only here for a very short time, 6-8 weeks, and we need to document how many of them make the trek up the Marstons Mills River to spawn. Sign up to be a counter! It’s fun, easy and takes a minimal amount of time and effort. It’s a great family activity! Liberty Hall is located at 2150 Main Street in Marstons Mills.
