MSPCA Pet of the Week: Meet Barley

Three year old Pointer mix
Barley is a three-year-old male Pointer mix who has high energy and needs a fenced-in yard. (MSPCA photo)

Three-year-old Barley is a Pointer mix who absolutely loves to exercise!  The best home for Barley will be one with an active owner or family who’ll take him on long runs on the beach followed by an equally long afternoon nap in the sun.  That’s pretty much the ideal day for this sweet dog.  Staffers at the MSPCA-Cape Cod report that Barley is quite fond of other dogs and would do well with a canine friend.  He is a bit of an “escape artist” so he must go to a home with a fenced in yard.  Staffers also report that he would do better with older kids and adults vs. young children.
