Cape Cod Landscape Association Scholarships

Applications available now

The Cape Cod Landscape Association is now accepting scholarship applications.

The scholarship fund is in honor of Mike Stacy, a native of Cape Cod, active member of CCLA and owner of Mike Stacy Landscaping. Mr. Stacy passed away in August of 1989. Lacking a formal education in horticulture, Mr. Stacy was acutely aware of the importance of continually expanding his knowledge and appreciated the educational and professional opportunities gained through his involvement with CCLA. It is fitting that others be afforded the opportunity to further their education and careers through this fund in his name.

Scholarships in the amount of $1,500 awards are open to anyone from Cape Cod, the Islands and the South Shore pursuing a career in the green industry. An additional award of $500 will be presented to a son or daughter of a CCLA member to be used towards furthering their
education.

Applications are available on the CCLA website at www.capecodlandscapes.org. All applications must be received by April 25th, 2017.

CCLA is a local, non-profit organization consisting of over one hundred and eighty professional companies on Cape Cod involved in the landscape industry. Funds for the scholarships are raised by CCLA’s Annual Golf Tournament to benefit the Mike Stacy Memorial Fund.
