Volunteers needed at Cape Cod Maritime Museum

Help with education programs, act as a docent and more...

The Cape Cod Maritime Museum, located at 135 South St. in Hyannis on the scenic inner Hyannis Harbor is seeking volunteers in all departments for the 2017 spring, summer and fall season. Especially needed are volunteers to help with education programs, the front desk and gift shop and to act as docents. The museum has a busy schedule and there are many opportunities to be useful and to have fun as well.

There will be a training session in mid April for all interested parties and ongoing training will be provided. All ages are welcome. High school students are encouraged to volunteer, especially if they have an interest in maritime history, boat building or the CCMM’s unique STEM based education program.

The CCMM is also seeking several interns, in education as well as administration. There will also be opportunities to assist the curator. These would be summer positions.
