Cape Cod Community College welcomes the public to Open House on April 12th, 2017, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.. Faculty, staff advisors, and current students will be on hand to answer questions and provide information to potential students, family and friends. This is the perfect time for those considering enrolling in a Summer course, or starting the new semester this Fall, to come and learn all about the wide variety of academic programs, degrees and certificates.
There are exciting new opportunities for transferring on after graduation under the state’s new “Pathways” initiative, and the Commonwealth Commitment program. Information will be available about these new college options.
Refreshments will be provided along with: tours, an alumni/student discussion panel, and many other activities from which potential students will learn what it’s like to be a part of the CCCC community.
Students in the College’s Event Planning and Management Class have been very involved in planning the afternoon, and they want the public to know that if you’ve been to Open House at the College before, this is going to be an exciting and very different experience. Potential students can also explore what the “community” part of the College name is all about, including student support, educational excellence, and affordability.
“This is exciting to see our students so vibrantly engaged in reaching out to potential students, their families and friends. This demonstrates how faculty and students come together to apply their education in a beneficial experience…” stated President John Cox, speaking of the upcoming Open House.
The Open House will begin at the Tilden Arts Center. The best parking lots for this event will be the College’s Lots 1,2,3, 9,10,11. Directions and further information can be found at www.capecod.edu/OpenHouse.
Cape Cod Community College delivers educational programs and services to meet the diverse needs of the residents of Cape Cod, the Canal Region, the islands of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket, and the Greater Plymouth Area. CCCC is the only comprehensive college on Cape Cod, and offers over 60 degree concentrations, and 56 academic certificate options.
In the words of the students who’ve been planning this great event for some time, “Come learn what community is all about, and make CCCC your first choice!” More information is available here at: www.capecod.edu/OpenHouse.
