On Tuesday April 18th, at Osterville Village Library, teens and tweens ages 10-18 are invited to Escape Room, a hands-on adventure game of challenges for people who like to solve mysteries and puzzles. Working against the clock, small teams of problem-solvers will have only one hour to complete the mission: to find a series of clues throughout the library, decode a series of puzzles, and unlock a sequence of locked boxes.
Based on the popular book “Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library” by Chris Grabenstein, the program plays off of the increasingly popular ‘escape room’ phenomenon.
Registration is absolutely required for this program, as mission teams are limited to 8 people. Once the first program session is full, a 2nd and a 3rd session will be offered that same day. Session 1 will be held at 11:00. While designed for ages 10-18, parents are welcome to sign up, too. The Osterville Village Library is at 43 Wianno Ave, Osterville. To register call 508-428-5757
The presentation is in the handicapped accessible main meeting room of the Osterville Village Library. This event is FREE and open to the public.
