NOAA: A Glorious Patriots' Day, cooling down Tuesday

Turn off the computer and get outside...

From the National Weather Service:

If you enjoyed our taste of summertime warmth yesterday, you better get outside today because we're about to get into a pattern of cooler weather this week.

Highs will top out in the 60s to mid 70s today along with plenty of sunshine and a gusty northwest wind, up to 30 mph at times.

On Tuesday, winds will shift to the northeast, bringing a much cooler day to areas near the coast along with a lot of cloudiness. Sunshine should prevail farther inland in western New England, but it will be cooler there as well.

It looks like our weather will become more unsettled later Wednesday through Friday with periods of rain at times.
