People for Cats: Meet Baron

This fellow is 9 years old, elegant and exotic
This exotic-looking gentleman's name is Baron... (PFC photo)

From the fine folks at People for Cats:

Our cat of the week is Baron, a domestic shorthaired male who is approximately 9 years old. His white whiskers and haunting green eyes are set off by his black fur and make him quite the exotic looking gentleman.  He came to People for Cats when his owner could no longer care for him. Dogs and other cats are just fine with Baron and he has lived and gotten along with both. Baron is a brawny fellow who enjoys being scratched and petted around the face and lets you know he likes it by purring. Right now he is getting used to being at the People for Cats center where he is making friends among the volunteers. He is neutered, has all his shots and is looking for an owner who will love him and give him a new home.

If you would like to visit with Baron or some of our other equally wonderful cats, come into the shelter at 44 Beagle Lane in Teaticket. We are open to the public on Wednesdays from 4 to 6 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., or call our hotline for an appointment. Hotline: 508-540-5654, press #1 if you have cat related issues, questions or for further information about People For Cats, or press #2 if you need financial assistance for veterinary care for your cat.
