FPD: Intoxicated woman breaks into house, steals boots

First placed in protective custody, arrested when theft reported

From Falmouth Police:

Intoxicated Female Breaks into Neighbor’s House Steals Boots.

On Tuesday police responded to a report of an intoxicated female attempting to enter a house. The house was her own, so the officers placed her in protective custody due to her level of intoxication.

Later, officers learned that she had also broken into her neighbor’s home and took a pair of boots. The boots were “made for walking”, so she walked back to her own home wearing them.

As a result, she was placed under arrest while still in custody and booked for breaking and entering and larceny.
