Barnstable Holds Public Boat Auction Today

Notice of Public Auction

On Saturday May 20, 2017 the Barnstable Harbormaster Division will be conducting a sealed bid auction of surplus and abandoned vessels.

The auction will take place at Marine and Environmental Affairs Office, 1189 Phinney’s Ln, Centerville, MA 02632. If needed, additional parking will be in the vacant lot across the street. Viewing and bidding will open at 8:30am and close at 10:30am. All bids will be awarded by12:00pm. Persons awarded the winning bid will have until 3:30pm on Saturday, May 20, 2017 (same day removal) to submit payment and have the item removed. Failure to comply with either or both conditions will result in forfeiture of award.

Payment shall be made by either cash or check payable to “Town of Barnstable” for the amount of the winning bid at the site of the auction.
