National Seashore: Trams are back, so are some beach fees

Another sign that summer's coming...

From the Cape Cod National Seashore:

If you need a reminder that summer's on our doorstep, here it is! Welcome back to our tram drivers and fee collectors who will greet visitors and neighbors on weekends beginning Saturday, May 27. The tram runs on weekends between Little Creek and Coast Guard Beach in Eastham, and daytime parking management will be in effect at Coast Guard. Beach fees are collected at Little Creek, Race Point Beach, and Herring Cove Beach on weekends starting May 27. Fee collection at the other beaches will begin later in June. Lifeguards don't arrive until late June, so read and heed advisories (particularly regarding sharks) at all beaches. The stairs at Marconi are under construction and there is no access to Marconi Beach until late spring or early summer.
