Annual Meeting of Friends of the Wellfleet Library

Featuring Stephen Russell, long-time director of WHAT for Kids

The Annual Meeting of the Friends of the Wellfleet Library on June 11 will feature Stephen Russell, the director of WHAT for Kids since 2002. 

Russell’s talk, “Producing Children’s Theatre in the Land of Yes,”  will focus on the particular joys and challenges of creating theater work for family audiences on the Outer Cape.
 

Stephen Russell has written 18 plays for young audiences and has appeared on the WHAT main stage many times over the years. He has also appeared on stage in Boston, Ireland, the UK, and Mexico. He has written dozens of songs, many of which have been featured in WHAT for Kids shows, and is the Book Buyer for the Wellfleet Marketplace. In addition, Stephen’s voice acting can be heard in some of the most popular and highly regarded games of the last twenty years. stephenrussellvoice.com
