NOAA: Morning Weather Briefing 06/09/17

Transitional day, sunny weekend ahead

From the National Weather Service:

Low pressure center off Nantucket will move northeast today. Rain over Cape Cod and the Islands will also move off to the northeast this morning.

Unstable air lingers over Southern New England, and helps generate scattered showers and thunderstorms, mostly in Western and Central Mass and Northern Connecticut.

The showers dissipate and skies clear tonight.
