Job #1 - Bookkeeper - Mid Cape Full Time: 3-4 Years of accounting experience as a bookkeeper. Ability to work independently; Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing needs within the office. Strong computer skills including MS Office, Excel, QuickBooks or preferably Sage. Attention to detail, Problem solving, Daily cash maintenance of all company accounts and time management skills. Process all account payables (ensure compliance and approval) and check runs; Resolve vendor issues and payable discrepancies; Assist with month end close including preparing journal entries & maintaining account reconciliations. Meals tax liability tracking, reporting and payments. Prepare monthly bank reconciliations & Prepare weekly reporting to Owner. Prepare monthly owner reports- P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements. Salary is: $45,000 per year.
Job #2 - Business Office Manager - Mid Cape Full Time: The primary purpose of your position is to assist in the day-to-day accounting function of the facility in accordance with current applicable accounting and cost reimbursement principles relating to the long-term care operations, and as may be directed by the Administrator or Accountant. The Business Office Manager is responsible and accountable to carry out assigned duties and report directly to the Administrator and independently be responsible for staff's job duties and performance. Must possess an Associate's Degree in Accounting and/or an equivalent of two (2) years training and experience in health care accounting, billing & collections.
