HOMELESS PREVENTION CASE MANAGER (MARTHA'S VINEYARD)

HAC has an opening for a part-time position to work directly with individuals and families struggling with housing stability on Martha's Vineyard. 

The primary role of the Case Manager is to provide wrap-around case management services to increase support and follow-through with individuals and families who are currently experiencing housing instability. This is a collaborative role that will work directly with individuals, families, and support agencies to stabilize crisis situations and to secure and maintain housing. This is a grant-funded position. The Case Manager will work under the supervision of the Department Director.

FAMILY THERAPIST

A full-time position exists to enhance the recovery potential of families without permanent housing. The Family Therapist should have a Master's degree in the appropriate discipline with two years of substance abuse counseling experience.

The program needs someone who is interested in creating and maintaining a trauma-informed treatment set of protocols for a residential facility that has functioned as a role model for 20 years. Candidate must show they have working experience being creative, compassionate, computer literate, and good with children of all ages. The Therapist will provide clinical family services through individual, group and family therapy under the supervision of the Clinical Director.

Our residential family shelter for women recovering from substance abuse and their children has openings for day and evening support staff for residential coverage.  Qualified candidates will have experience working in or interest in working in recovery-focused environments and have day and weekend availability. Candidate must show they have working experience being creative, compassionate, computer literate, and detail oriented. Candidates need to be consistent and committed. This position will report to the Program Director. Compensation is $13 per hour.

WEEKEND AWAKE OVERNIGHT STAFF

Our residential family shelter for women recovering from substance abuse and their children has openings for awake overnight support staff for weekend coverage.  Qualified candidates will have experience working in or interest in working in recovery-focused environments and have weekend overnight availability. Candidate must show they have working experience being creative, compassionate, computer literate, and detail-oriented. Candidates need to be consistent and committed. This position will report to the Program Director. Compensation is $13 per hour.

DIRECT CARE STAFF (FULL-TIME & PART-TIME POSITIONS)

The Village at Cataumet is seeking applications for Direct Care staff positions to fill evening and weekend shifts. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and clean facility for 18 family shelter units per night as well as implementing program policies.

Excellent written communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks and limit-setting skills are essential for this position. Data entry and basic computer skills are required. GENERAL CONTRACTORS

HAC is looking for general contractors to conduct home repairs to income-eligible properties in the town of Yarmouth. The type of work will include: building envelope and site work, roofing, siding, window replacement, electrical, plumbing and installation of smoke alarms, sprinklers and other fire suppression systems. Contractors must have a valid Contractor Supervisor license and/or a Home Improvement Contractor license. Contractors are required to submit estimates and complete work in accordance with an approved scope of work. All work must be in compliance with building codes.
