It will be dry for part of the day, but temperatures will be unseasonably cool. Max temperatures will be almost as low as they ever have been for July 14th.

We do expect some showers during the day and evening, especially in Western Mass and Northern Connecticut. Additional showers and scattered thunderstorms are expected tonight.

Here are the max temperature forecasts for our area today, as well as the chance of showers during the morning and afternoon.

Today

A chance of showers, mainly after 10am. Cloudy, with a high near 70. Northeast wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Tonight
A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 1am. Patchy fog after 5am. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 63. Northeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Saturday
A chance of showers, mainly before 2pm. Patchy fog before 11am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 75. Calm wind becoming northeast around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Saturday Night
Mostly cloudy, with a low around 66. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph.
Sunday
Mostly sunny, with a high near 78. Calm wind becoming southeast around 6 mph in the afternoon.

Patchy drizzle between 11pm and 2am, then patchy drizzle with a slight chance of showers after 2am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 67. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
