Another mainly dry summer day in store for southern New England. Slight risk for showers and a few thunderstorms later this evening, mainly toward the south coast of New England.

Sunny, with a high near 77. Light and variable wind becoming southwest 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon.
Tonight
A slight chance of showers between 10pm and 1am, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 65. Southwest wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Thursday
Patchy fog before 11am. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 75. Southwest wind 9 to 14 mph.
Thursday Night
A slight chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 63. Southwest wind 6 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Friday
A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before noon. Patchy fog before 10am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 73. South wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Friday Night
A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 61. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Saturday
Partly sunny, with a high near 73.
