Southcoast Health announced today that Priyanka O’Brien, MD, has joined the Southcoast Physician Group, and will be seeing patients at Southcoast Ears, Nose & Throat (ENT) in North Dartmouth.

Dr. O’Brien holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a master’s from Boston University School of Medicine, in addition to her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Mich. She completed her residency in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Wayne State.

Dr. O’Brien has received grants for her research performed in the “Role of Disulfiram in oxidative stress and oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) xenograft burden” through the American Association of Otolaryngology’s Head & Neck Surgery Foundation, in addition to contributing to various research publications.

She has given time back to the community by volunteering in head and neck cancer screening sessions at the Karmanos Cancer Institute at Wayne State.
