People for Cats: Meet Merry

A sweet two-year old girl...
Merry is just blooming with personality and curiosity (PFC photo)

Our Cat of the Week is a 2-year old black domestic short hair female named Merry. This 2-year old is quite petite with a sleek gleaming black coat accented by a tuft of white on her bib and big golden-colored eyes. Like many black cats she also has a very sweet nature. Merry is friendly and affectionate, and readily purrs up a storm whenever someone gives her a bit of attention. She is just full of personality and curiosity, as she jauntily walks around checking out her environment and the other kitties. Since coming to the shelter, Merry has bloomed into a loving and interactive kitty. This sweetheart has been spayed, is up to date on all her shots and is ready to find a “fur-ever” home of her own. So why not come in to meet this little girl and see if she is the kitty to complete your family.

If you would like to visit with Merry or some of our other equally lovely cats, come in to the shelter at 44 Beagle Lane in Teaticket. We are open to the public on Wednesdays from 4 to 6 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., or call our hotline for an appointment. Hotline: 508-540-5654, press #1 if you have cat related issues, questions or for further information about People For Cats, or press #2 if you need financial assistance for veterinary care for your cat.
