The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) announced the appointment of Mairead Graf as the organization’s first Cape-based Development Officer.

Graf has been a Cape Cod resident for more than a decade, and has been heavily involved in the local community. The Keene State College alum has sat on several local nonprofit boards including the Cape Cod Young Professionals, Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce, and the Community Leadership Institute of Cape Cod.

ARL has been helping animals in need on Cape Cod since 1921, and Mairead is looking forward to engaging the community, sharing the organization’s mission and vision, and expanding the reach of ARL on the Cape.

“The Animal Rescue League of Boston is a Cape Cod institution, and I am thrilled to be a part of such a wonderful organization,” Graf said. “The work ARL does has such an impact, and it’s important for residents across the Cape know that whether it’s adoption, reporting animal cruelty, or anything animal-related, ARL is an important resource.

Graf currently resides in Dennis with her husband, 5-year-old son and 9-month-old daughter.
