After three major hurricanes caused devastation in Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico, Cape Cod Five and its employees collectively donated more than $46,000 to hurricane relief efforts. To assist the areas hit by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria, Cape Cod Five pledged to match employee giving up to $5,000 in addition to the Bank’s $5,000 donation for each of the relief efforts. In each case, employee contributions exceeded the match.

“I am overwhelmed by the heartfelt generosity of our employees who, in the wake of these disasters, went above and beyond to support the relief efforts in these communities,” said Dorothy A. Savarese, President and CEO of Cape Cod Five. “In times like this, we are reminded of the importance of supporting our communities, both near and far, which was demonstrated by the outpouring of compassion, support and assistance from across the country to help those affected begin to recover.”
