 Winter Weather Advisories posted this morning for light snow transitioning to freezing rain in northern CT, northwest RI into Metro West Boston of eastern MA, and points west. Any light snow near and along the coast will quickly change to all rain

Rain likely before 2pm, then rain likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 2pm and 5pm, then a chance of rain and thunderstorms after 5pm. Cloudy, with a high near 49. Southeast wind 8 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Tonight
A chance of rain showers before 5am, then a slight chance of rain and snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 31. West wind 8 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Wednesday
A slight chance of snow showers before 8am. Partly sunny, with a high near 33. Breezy, with a west wind 16 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 46 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Partly cloudy, with a low around 24. Windy, with a west wind 25 to 28 mph, with gusts as high as 49 mph.
