Thunderstorms - yes, thunderstorms!

...Continue to Monitor Thunderstorms over Southeast Massachusetts...

At 331 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking thunderstorms over 
Southeast Massachusetts, moving northeast at 35 mph. These storms 
have had a history of producing brief downpours and lightning. In 
addition pea sized hail has been reported in New Bedford.

Along with the potential for wind gusts in excess of 30 mph, threats 
of lightning, brief downpours, and pea sized hail will continue for 
the next hour across Southeast Massachusetts.


Get indoors when this storm approaches. Winds may be strong enough to
produce minor damage, such as a few downed branches.
