The Assumption College Department of Athletics has announced that Isabelle Roberts, of Nantucket, has been named to the 2017-18 Assumption College Women's Swimming and Diving team. Roberts, Class of 2021, is competing during the Greyhounds' fall and winter season.

"The team is off to a great start with many impressive achievements already earned in early competition," said Stuart Cromarty, Ph.D., head coach and professor of biology. "This was due to a strong incoming class, a great group returning, and the leadership of a senior class that has benefitted from model teams of the past. Throughout the rest of the season, the team will continue to work hard, have fun, and enjoy the process of competing in our conference championships."

The team is led by captains Courtney Barr '18, Alexandra Omobono '18, and Bryanna Veroneau '18. Assumption Women's Swimming and Diving remains undefeated this season in dual meets, and are the Worcester City Champions for the sixth year in a row. Awarded Academic All-American Honors for its 21st semester on the school's honor roll, the team hopes to continue their record of academic and athletic excellence and reclaim the NE10 Championship title for the fourth time next month at the championship meet taking place on Feb. 8-11.
