NWS: Flooding Possible with Heavy Rains

From the National Weather Service:

Periods of heavy rain tonight into Sunday evening. The heaviest rain is expected across RI and SE MA where a Flood Watch has been posted. There is the potential for some minor river/stream flooding along with pockets of urban/poor drainage street flooding.

 

This Afternoon
A chance of rain, mainly after 5pm. Cloudy, with a high near 51. South wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Tonight
Rain. The rain could be heavy at times. Areas of fog. Low around 41. South wind 7 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
Sunday
Rain. The rain could be heavy at times. Areas of fog. High near 46. Light southwest wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
Sunday Night
Rain, mainly before 1am. Areas of fog. Low around 41. Southwest wind 9 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 37 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Monday
A slight chance of rain before 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 46. Northwest wind 6 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
