Blanton to meet with Bourne residents at Keystone Place

Bourne Selectman Michael Blanton wants to hear from Bourne residents about “Community Priorities and the Budget Process” at his March First Friday Office Hours event on Friday, March 2, at Keystone Place.

Blanton will be in the Keystone Place Pub between 10 a.m. and noon and invites any Bourne resident to meet with him. Keystone Place is located at 218 Main St. in Buzzards Bay. The public is invited and welcome to attend.

“As the town prepares for town meeting and develops its fiscal 2019 budget, I want to hear about community priorities,” said Blanton, who is a longtime champion for the economic development of Buzzards Bay.  “What are the services and issues that residents feel most strongly about?”

At his February Office Hours in Pocasset, Blanton said, he appreciated discussions with residents about civic engagement, concerns about the Barlows Landing beach, and an effort to create a bike trail through Bourne.
