Barnstable Police Update on Armed Home Invasion

Update: Armed Home Invasion

On 3/20/18 Barnstable Police Investigators conducted a search of the aforementioned black SUV which was used during the commission of the home invasion. The vehicle was seized on the night of the incident and a search warrant was sought for the purposes of collecting evidence. During the search, a loaded .38 caliber handgun, extra ammunition, a replica 9mm handgun, masks, and gloves believed used by the suspects, were located in the vehicle. Also found, was a set of handcuffs, along with items stolen from the victims during the incident.

All suspects are being held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing on 3/30/18. 

One suspect, Dayshaun Tatum, has a previous conviction for Home Invasion, Armed Assault with Intent to Murder, and Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon. He was on probation at the time of his arrest.
