NWS Evening Update on Winter Storm

From the National Weather Service:

[Evening Update] Main impacts for tonight's coastal storm are heavy snow, strong winds, & minor coastal flooding. Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the Cape, Vineyard, and SE Middlesex County, and a Coastal Flood Advisory has been issued from Plymouth County to Cape Cod and the Islands.

Snow will overspread the region by this evening and move out of the region by noon tomorrow. Heaviest snowfall will be across southeastern Mass and Rhode Island.

Hazardous wind and sea conditions are expected for experienced and properly equipped vessels. With wind gusts between 50-60 mph, loose objects will become airborne, scattered tree damage, isolated power outages, and possible structure damage.
