The so-called "tip jar thief" has reached a plea agreement.  Sixty-six-year-old Mary Gelsthorpe has agreed to pay restitution and submit to one year of pre-trial probation, according to the Barnstable County District Attorney's office.

The defendant has been ordered to stay away from the Lobster Trap Restaurant.

Ms. Gelsthorpe was captured on video (below) taking cash from the tip jar at the restaurant in February.  Bourne Police sought the public's assistance to identify the woman on the video - and the trail led to Ms. Gelsthorpe.

She defaulted on her first court date and was nabbed by Bourne Police.
