On April 13, 2018 at the 16th Annual American Red Cross Heroes Breakfast, Dennis Animal Control Officer and DPD Special Police Officer Lori Miranda was awarded a "Community Service Hero" award. Lori was nominated by the Dennis Police Department for all of her selfless volunteer efforts on behalf of such organizations at The American Cancer Society Relay for Life and Cape Cod Hoarding Task Force, to name only a few. Lori has distinguished herself as an advocate for so many causes, the Dennis Police Department is proud of our "Community Service Hero"!
