Understanding Facebook Privacy Settings
Tuesday, May 1, 5:30 to 7:00 PM
In the past few weeks we have all begun rethinking our use of Facebook. Should we really delete it? And if not, what do we need to be concerned about? There are privacy settings but who understands what they all actually do? Dylan does! Dylan Steven, social media marketing professional and partner in 118Group will lead us through a discussion of the recent concerns about Facebook. You will have to make the decision on your own, but if you choose to continue using Facebook, Dylan will show you how to use the privacy settings to manage your account your way. We recommend you bring your laptop so you can follow along on your Facebook account. This is a FREE event.
Networking Like A Pro!
Tuesday, May 8, 5:30 – 7:30
We all know networking is something we need to do. But many of us don’t like it one bit! Like anything else, it’s easier when you have some tools. In a fun, interactive event, networking expert Warren Rutherford will share successful networking tips and techniques in the “why” and “how” of effective networking. You will be learning about your behavior and personality style through a complimentary DISC assessment – that’s a widely used, non-judgmental personality profile tool which identifies ways that people prefer to relate to one another. You will be asked to complete the DISC survey online upon registration for this event. Warren is the owner of The Executive Suite, an executive and professional search firm. He is an executive coach and expert in business networking and business transition. This is a FREE event.
All events are held at CapeSpace, 100 Independence Drive in Hyannis, between Iyannough Road and Attucks Lane, across from Home Depot and Whole Foods.
