Part of Downtown Orleans Evacuated Due to Gas Leak

From Orleans Fire-Rescue:

Crews are currently on scene of a broken natural gas line on Main St and Brewster Cross Road. The gas company is on scene working to shut down the gas main. A number of businesses have been evacuated and traffic detoured. 

The area will remain cordoned off until National Grid secures the gas.
