Update on National Grid Gas Main Replacement Project

National Grid and R H White construction crews will continue work on the Mid Cape Gas Main Replacement Project during the week of April 23, 2018 in the following locations:

Crews will continue installing pipe on Great Western Road toward Highbank Road in Yarmouth.
Crews will continue installing pipe in South Dennis crossing Route 134. Crews will be working at night Monday (Sunday evening) through Friday morning starting April 29, 2018 from 7:00 p.m.- 5:00 a.m. During the overnight working hours, traffic will be detoiured using Route 134, Upper County Road, Great Western Road, South Gages Way and Theophilus Smith Road. The crossing of Route 134 is expected to take one to two weeks.
Crews will continue to install pipe ahead of the above crew on Great Western Road heading toward Depot Street.
Crews will again be installing pipe on White’s Path in Yarmouth
A Crew is installing pipe on Depot Street in Harwich between Great Western Road and Main Street. Working in conjunction with the Harwich Police department, traffic will be detoured away from Depot Street from the intersection of Main Street and Queen Anne Road. Traffic will also be detoured away from travelling north on Depot Street from Great Western Road in Harwich. Local residents and businesses will have access to their properties as directed by police detail officers.
Road signage has been installed in order to inform residents and travelers of possible delays in the affected areas.
