GreenCape Presentation at Hyannis Public Library

Learn all about exposure to PFAS's on May 22nd

On Tuesday, May 22, 2018, from 5:30pm to 6:30pm, the Hyannis Public Library will host members of GreenCape, who will present a discussion on how to reduce your overall daily exposure to PFASs, substances which can be found in many items, including food, consumer products, and even drinking water.  Animal and human studies have now linked PFAS exposure to immunotoxicity and a number of other adverse human health effects.  Members of GreenCape will relate how to choose safer products to minimize your chemical body burden of PFAS.  GreenCape is a 501(c)(3) organization, founded in 1998, whose mission is to increase public awareness of the risks of pesticides and other chemicals.  This program is free and open to the public.
